The parent meeting is to go over information for the season, including new changes for the team and meeting the coaching staff. An email will be sent out with detailed information on the season, please read it before the meeting to prepare yourself for any questions you may have, as we intend to keep this meeting-with questions, to no more than an hour. We understand it can be overwhelming for new families and recognize it's a lot of information to take in all at once. It's helpful to flag the email so you can easily refer back to it as needed. Additionally, the season information email will be available on the team website to refer back to anytime throughout the season.

We are meeting BEFORE the first day of practice, swimmers are welcome to attend, but we will not be providing access to the pool or supervision during the parent meeting. If families still need to complete registration, there will be time to do so at the conclusion of the meeting. As a reminder, a completed registration is required prior to your swimmer being allowed to enter the water for practice. We strongly encourage all families to complete their registration prior to April 1st so their swimmer doesn't miss the first day of practice.

Store closes Sunday April 6th at 11:59pm and all orders will be dispersed by Thursday May 1st during your swimmers practice, just in time for Time Trials! :)

Sunrise Sharks new swimmer tryouts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday March 18th and 19th at from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Rusch Park Pool, RAIN OR SHINE. Please arrive ten minutes early to check in. All swimmers new to the team, even with previous swim team experience, must attend tryouts. We are currently accepting new swimmers at any swim level ability, but swimmers MUST be comfortable in the water. If your swimmer can't let go of a kick board but is happy in the water, we'd love to meet them! It is recommended to have your child in comfortable swim wear and cap & goggles if you have them. We will have team caps and competition goggles on deck for purchase.

To be prepared for registration: please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport, along with one check for the volunteer deposit. Deposit checks do not get cashed if volunteer requirements are met. Our swim season runs four & half months, April 1st thru July 28th. Practice is Monday-Thursday in the evening, with additional morning practices Monday, Wednesday & Friday starting June 9th. Swim meets are on Saturday starting in May and going thru July. All practices and meets are optional, you are not required to be at every one. Please see below for a full list of registration fees, a complete registration-including birth certificate or passprot is required before your swimmer may enter the water for practice:

each additional swimmer is $230

High School Swimmer discount registration fee $195

•NorCal Swim League (NCSL) registration fee - per swimmer $20

•Sunrise Sharks fundraising fee - per family $40

•Sunrise Sharks volunteer deposit - per family $300 not cashed if volunteer requirement is met-please note, we do want this deposit, we need volunteers and will work with your family the best we can to ensure the volunteer requirement is met.

picture fee includes a memory mate of team photo, individual photo, 4 wallets & 4x6 magnet-additional prints and photo items can be purchased later

This session is highly recommended for new swimmers; new swimmer try-outs are on March 14th & 16th.

Participants will learn the concept of the butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle drills geared toward creating an efficient, fluent stroke. Open to new and returning swim team participants. The Stroke Clinic is not intended as swim lessons for new swimmers.

Pre-requisite: Students should be water safe by themselves.

$48 per session.

Clinic is held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, at Rusch Park.

Welcome back Shark Families, lets get ready for the Polar Plunge! This is an event for our returning families only. Parents will be able to get assistance with returning swimmer registration, pay fees & submit the volunteer deposit to ensure their registration is complete, prior to first day of practice. Swimmers will be able to take the plunge into the non heated pool with their shark friends & warm up with hot coca after

Sharks gear will be available for purchase, custom cap orders can be placed and get a head start on our team store with delivery before the season starts!
