Hello Sharks! It’s time for swim team! As our 1st day of practice approaches, I want to encourage you all to come to the parent meeting and bring all your questions. If you have it, someone else will too. I can't wait to see you again or meet you on the 30th! Also, if you haven’t already, make sure you purchase your tickets for the pancake breakfast on April 18th! It's sure to be a shark-tastic time!

Parent Information Meeting:
Our parent meeting is Monday at 6:30pm in the Patio Room, located behind the bleachers.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO THE PARENT MEETING:
The season info page has all the details you need for the season and the code of conduct is new, please thoroughly read what you’ve already agreed to during registration. At the conclusion of the parent meeting, we will have tables set up for you to complete any missing steps of your registration, purchase swim gear and have the team apparel orders ready for pickup. We look forward to seeing all our Sharks there!
Pancake Breakfast:
Our Applebee’s Breakfast fundraiser on April 18th is fast approaching, and we’d love to see you there! This is our first fundraiser to kickoff the season and we need your help to make it successful. Our older Sharks will be serving food, and we’ll have pictures to color to hang at Champs.
Tickets are $15 each, for all ages-senior & children, and must be purchased in advance. Tickets include pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and orange juice/coffee/soda. Grab the family and friends to enjoy a shark-tastic breakfast! Tap here for tickets.
Team Suit Ordering:
Our official team suit is thru Agon Swim on our team store, but it is NOT REQUIRED. Your swimmer is free to wear any competition style suit. If ordering thru Agon, our team has bulk ordering dates setup where you will receive a discount on rushed shipping. All orders will be delivered to the team and dispersed at practice. Please note ordering dates are March 31st thru April 6th. If you order before or after those dates, you can choose your own shipping speed/cost.
*Per NCSL bylaws, there are strict rules on suits for females & males during competition. Sunrise’s team stores thru Agon & Swimoutlet do comply with the rules. If you have questions, please reach out prior to purchasing a suit outside of either of Sunrise’s team stores.
NEEDED…Team Parents, Officials & a DJ in training:
We are still in need of team parents for all ages and genders. We have a full roster and will need our “wet cat herders”. This is a great way to stay with your swimmer during the meet, it covers the volunteer requirement and we provide the shade-you bring a chair! You will be needed at every meet and champs.
If you’re looking to learn more about all things swim, becoming an official is a great way to go! We need Stroke & Turn Judges, Starter, Deck Ref and Computer/Timing. If you’re curious to learn more, we have a clinic on Wednesday April 29th, 6:30pm at your very own Shark Tank.
Our awesome DJ is retiring and looking to train someone new! This position would cover the volunteer requirement and you would be needed for all home meets, both team socials, and Champs.

Volunteer Jobs:
Volunteer jobs will be opening Monday April 6th at 8pm. More information will come later but each family needs five shifts and two at Champs-not open until late June. If you have any questions on job descriptions, you can read full descriptions here

Personalizes Swim Caps:
Personalized swim cap orders close April 13th at 11:59pm. We are using a different vendor than last season, but the design will be the same. Place your order here.
