Rules
During Practice for Swimmers:
- Walk on pool deck - no
running.
- No swimmers are
allowed in the pool office, equipment room,
or on lifeguard stands.
- No swimmers in the
water without a Coach's approval.
- No swimmers are
permitted on the diving boards unless
directed by the coaching staff.
- No horseplay,
rowdiness, or profanity allowed.
- Swimmers are not to
arrive earlier than designated workout
time and are expected to remain in the bleachers until called by the
Coach.
- Swimmers are not
permitted to wander around the pool area
before, during or after practice.
- No misuse of any swim
equipment or mistreatment of the pool
facility will be tolerated.
- During workouts,
swimmers must remain in the pool unless
directed otherwise by the Coach. Please ask permission before going to
the restroom.
**
NOTE: Violation of the above rules may
result in the swimmer being suspended temporarily or permanently from
swim team workouts, meets and activities.
Swimmer's
Responsibilities:
- Attend practice on a
regular basis and arrive on time.
- Attend all meets.
- Communicate with your
Coach when you cannot swim in a meet
by writing in the Vacation Book.
- Help set up and put
away all equipment.
- Compliment others on
their achievement. Encourage others
who are down.
- Actively participate
in team social activities and outings.
Be a part of your team- you will have fun and get to know other
swimmers.
- Support your Coach and
the training program.
- Establish high goals
and actively train to achieve them.
- Be competitive and
show sportsmanship.
